Christmas Day in the Morning (also known as Christmas Ida Mournin' is a 19th century Shetland tune attributed to fiddler Fredamann Stickle, who is said to have played this tune to the laird every Christmas. I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In is an older English tune - probably from the 17th century. I couldn't resist a medley of the two songs given that the refrain of I Saw Three Ships is "On Christmas Day in the Morning". They seemed to belong together! Watch: https://youtu.be/IOZpnJdhqBU
In the Bleak Midwinter was originally a poem by Christina Rosetti first published in 1872 under the title "A Christmas Carol". Gustav Holst set the poem to music in 1906. The first verse of my arrangement is very similar to Holst's original setting arranged for congregational singing in the "English Hymnal". Watch: https://youtu.be/zJha_Be37tM

This is a transcription of the Ave Maria by Charles Gounod set to J.S. Bach's Prelude in C. The music is for lever harp and C instrument.
From the 14th century, probably from Scotland in Middle English. A narrator sets the scene of a mother rocking her child. The carol is a tender dialogue between the child and his mother who we eventually learn are none other than Mary and the infant Jesus. Harp part is fairly simple, but players should be able to play a two hand bisbigliando and right hand harmonics. Includes pronunciation and translation notes. Need a lower key for your voice?
